A refreshingly acidic and mineral driven Viognier showcasing generous floral aromatics and tropical fruit notes. Fermented using native yeasts and allowed to age on lees for 6 months before bottling providing a beautiful, rounded texture.
Pétillant Naturel (or "Pét-Nat") is a method of producing sparkling wine, also referred to as “Methode Ancestrale”, where the carbonation occurs from bottling the wine during the primary, alcoholic fermentation – in order to capture the carbon dioxide that is being naturally released. This sparkling rosé was made from all estate-grown, Demeter certified Biodynamic® Pinot Noir grapes.
This flagship Pinot Noir is the core of our Pinot program at Johan Vineyards. This blend is the top 10 barrels of the entire vintage – the only red Pinot Noir we made for the year. It is a true expression of the vintage, not masked or altered by fining agents, filtration, or fancy winemaking tools.
