This vineyard experiences the warmth needed to ripen this late variety, yet grown here on the banks of the upper Applegate River, our Grenache is uniquely complex — energized by the acidity and tannin fostered by our cool summer mornings. The fruit is hand-harvested, fermented both destemmed and as whole cluster, and aged in mostly neutral French oak.
Sun-kissed brambly raspberry, blackberry, and currant burst from the glass, accompanied by rich, polished leather, white pepper, and blood orange citrus. This Grenache is texturally dense yet vibrant — simultaneously playful and contemplative.
