The 2019 Syrah is a thoughtful interplay of fresh and savory, structure and elegance. Red raspberry sauce, boysenberry, fruit leather, high desert shrubs and chaparral, with raspberry leaf tea, cedar, and just a hint of cured meats. There is bright energy in the front of the mouth, with sweet fruited textures, focused at first and broadening on the mid-palate, and lengthening to resolved but age worthy tannins.
